Workshops

  • Inspire your inner artist and discover if you will take the leap and dive deeper in the world of ceramics.

    During this 3 hour course you will learn the basics on handbuilding and give you a taste of wheel throwing. You will be able to create one or two pots, cups or bowls. After the workshop we will bisque fire your work and dip it in a glaze of your choice and fire it one last time. Your pieces will be ready for

    pick-up after two weeks!

    We are starting off with basic techniques followed by handbuilding and finishing with throwing.

Wheel Throwing for all levels

Course

  • You can be a total beginner behind the wheel or a bit more experienced eager to improve your throwing skills. This is the workshop for you. In 5 weeks we guide you through the steps of a lump of clay to a finished product. We will learn you how to throw, trim, decorate, use engobes and glaze. In the first four weeks we will create pots, cups, bowls and plates. You will be able to fire four pieces that you will glaze in the fifth week.

    Your pieces will be ready for pick-up in 2 weeks!

  • 5 weeks

    Sunday 10:00 - 13:30

    3.5 hours

    1st class - basic knowledge + wedging + centring

    2nd class - throwing cilinders & cups

    3rd class - throwing cilinders & cups + bowls

    4th class - trimming + decorating

    5th class - glazing
